How to make Beef Tikka at Home

Beef Tikka is a delicious preparation of beef with various spices. This is a traditional Pakistani preparation and the spicy flavor of the herbs and spices stands out. The dish Beef Tikka is authentic and delicious. Beef Tikka is cooked and eaten during Eid-ul-Adha especially. In fact, no festival is completed without Beef Tikka. This is an easy-to-prepare dish with very few ingredients available at home. The spicy dish goes well with naan, paratha, chappati, or as it is without any bread. Note that the beef pieces should be tender and succulent. Enjoy with Sirka pickle and imli ki chutney.


  • 1 kg of beef thigh or undercut (cut into 1-inch square pieces) 
  • 2 spoons of yogurt 
  • Ginger Garlic Paste  2 Tablespoons 
  • Juice of a whole lemon 
  • 2 tablespoons of raw papaya 
  • 2 tablespoons of cooking oil 
  • One and a half tablespoons of crushed red chilies 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Garam masala powder one teaspoon


-Mix all the spices well in yogurt and marinate the beef cubes for two hours or over night.
-Then burn the coal in the ring until the coal is ready, make ready your skewers. 
-Grease the skewers with oil and then thread the beef cubes into the skewers with some distance. 
-You can thread tomato, onion and capsicum cubes in between. 
-Then cook the skewers on the coals, apply a little oil in between. 
-It will be ready in ten to twelve minutes. Serve with tomato or tamarind sauce and salad.
